A chemist by profession, Mr. Tony is a veteran of the shipping industry with over 30 years experience; 19 years of which have cumulatively been spent in Korean shipbuilding, conversion and repair and 4 years of experience in the Chinese market. Working on behalf of coating companies, ship-owners and shipyards, he has had periods of employment in the offshore industry which have given him a valuable overview of the marine market from differing perspectives, including a 7 year period as an equity partner in a Malaysian company involved in the design, fabrication and utilization of marine vessels and equipment employed in the installation of submarine pipelines and cables.

Latterly employed by a major German ship-owning group, Mr. Tony was responsible for all commercial matters pertaining to marine project development and implementation. He currently provides export-related consultancy services to small and medium sized marine equipment manufacturers in Ulsan and Busan and is a content provider and presenter at the Ocean Academy in association with the Korea Maritime University in Busan.
